WORKSHOP SERIES Throughout the past 20 years Arts Education Integration Agency has provided trainings for organizations that serve youth and adults. Organizations range from: not for profits, civic organizations, corporations, schools and correctional institutions. Our workshop and trainings are presented from a child empowerment perspective. We know that healthy children are vital to fostering healthy families, which lead to healthy communities.
Our trainers and workshop providers have extensive backgrounds and certifications and are subject matter experts. We hire and train diverse staff members and contract consultants to ensure that our workshops are packed with real world information and the latest data from practitioners.
SELF-REGULATION Self-Regulation is an online workshop designed to explore the prevalence and potential impact of trauma and stress on student behavior and offer strategies to help educators and other school staff navigate challenging interactions. The 75 minute session employs experiential learning and arts integration techniques to engage participants in their own discovery and practical implementation. WORKSHOP HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE Reframe challenging student behavior through a trauma informed lens. Practice self-regulation techniques in order to show up for our students as our highest selves. Understand the potential role of the body’s fight/flight/freeze response in challenging student interactions. Develop supportive relationships with colleagues
Child Maltreatment This one day workshop is geared toward helping providers, teachers, parents, and community members understand the long-term impacts of child maltreatment. Through this workshop participants will improve their understanding of: signs of maltreatment, mandated reporting, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), childhood trauma, and the psychological impact of child maltreatment on families, children, and their communities.

Family Power Dynamics (FPD) Our Family and Power Dynamics workshop focuses on domestic and community violence from the lens of children and families. This workshop is ideal for parents, counselors, educators and organizations that serve and interface with families. During this workshop we will explore partner violence, secondary trauma of children in abusive households, and the cycle of community violence.

HIDDEN EMOTIONS Hidden Emotions is an interactive and live streamed program designed to inspire conversations about mental health for your middle and high school students. Participants will be lead through a guided discussion where students can ask questions and share their thoughts about stress, anxiety, depression and resilience. Students, through interactive activities, will explore how emotional triggers can be identified and mediated through conflict resolution strategies.
